“Team spirit and the accomplishing of common goals have been our driving force ever since our early football days. We know the merits of a well-executed build-up from the back, the exemplary organization of the midfield and a perfectly timed launch of the forwards. The formation and coaching of successful units are in our DNA.”

What we do

Talent Journey

As independent catalyzers of talent and consultants for brands, Capitano has decades’ worth of experience in fostering artists and emotionalizing corporate identities. We advance careers with our expertise and experience: from the practice room to the arena, from the training ground to the stadium.

Capitano supports the long-term and sustainable development of talent in music and entertainment. We apply a holistic approach to the careers of our clients.

Brand Journey

Designing and executing a brand strategy with musicians and artists can be challenging. The music business is a complex construct of rights holders, service catalogs, labels, publishing rights, technical riders, and competition clauses. Capitano has over 30 years of experience in dealing with all stakeholders.

All-encompassing entertainment strategies are our core competence. We represent successful music programs for brands such as Coca-Cola, Bacardi, Sunrise, and 20 Minuten. Since 2021, we are project managers in charge of the vision and implementation of the X-TRA House of Music in Zurich.

Music Publishing

Do you need the ideal song for your TV commercial or digital platform? We take care of all legal and licensing issues regarding the use of songs for advertising campaigns, online trailers, video games, film soundtracks and digital content.

Having our own music publishing company allows us to market approx. 1,000 titles of every style and genre. From indie acts like Ikan Hyu and Benjamin Amaru to the biggest Swiss chart-toppers like Pegasus, 77 Bombay Street, Baschi, Stress, Joya Marleen, Klischée, Hecht and Lovebugs: we guarantee all your clearing and licensing needs within 48 hours.

Reto Lazzarotto
Captain and libero at Capitano Music
Mail IconInstagram Icon
Already as an E-junior, Reto demonstrated leadership qualities on the football pitch in the role of libero and captain of his team. Music and concerts, however, are his great passion. Even in his teenage years, he accompanied school band friends with innovative names such as The Avengers, Tasteful Thieves and Run For Fun to their first concerts. Lazzarotto also spent a lot of his free time in record stores. At the age of 22, he made music his profession. As founder and Managing Partner of Gadget Records and Marketing Director of Warner Music Switzerland, he has dedicated the last three decades to promoting musicians. At Warner Music, he and his team were responsible for marketing international artists such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, AC/DC, Phil Collins, Prince, Simply Red, Madonna and REM in Switzerland. From 2004, he and his team at Gadget oversaw the careers of many successful Swiss artists such as Stress, Baschi, Hecht and 77 Bombay Street. He will continue to do this with Capitano - with young talents from music and entertainment as well as a talented team and his large network.
Gian Rosen
Artist Manager and midfielder at Capitano Music

Gian is making his mark in the music industry as a producer, songwriter, musician, and manager. Known for his versatility, dedication, and approachable personality, Gian has collaborated with an impressive roster of artists. As a live musician, Gian has performed hundreds of concerts across Europe, with Benjamin Amaru as his primary focus alongside numerous other exciting projects. His production highlights include working on an album by Sadhguru, which also featured Grammy-winning musician Corey Henry. Most recently, Gian played an important role in guiding Nemo to victory at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, further solidifying his reputation as a multifaceted creative force. As an active manager, he is deeply involved in every step of his artists’ careers, fostering their development and guiding their artistic journeys. For Gian, music should be sustainable, evoke emotional resonance, and, above all, bring joy - to both the artists and the listeners alike. Looking ahead, Gian, as a midfield team player at Capitano, remains committed to his mission of supporting talent and creating impactful projects that resonate globally. Whether as a producer, manager, or musician, Gian continues to live by his motto: “Turn your passion into your profession.”
Larissa Loosli
Artist Manager and striker at Capitano Music
Mail IconInstagram Icon
She always goes all in. It's easy for her to stand up for artists and their visions, which she truly believes in. No extra mile is too far for her and no obstacle too great to win the match. Larissa completed her apprenticeship as a merchant and began at the age of 18 another education at the radio station Toxic.FM in St.Gallen as a presenter and editor. Afterwards she worked in journalism for six years, most recently as a daily producer at Roger Schawinski's Radio 1. In 2017, she moved to the largest independent Swiss Music Label Phonag Records. As Head Of Promotion, Larissa has worked with well-known national and international musicians (Loco Escrito, Stefanie Heinzmann, Deep Purple, Milky Chance, Mando Diao, Milow, Bryan Adams, Max Giesinger, Amy Macdonald, Bastian Baker, Francine Jordi, etc.). Larissa also repeatedly managed to help newcomers such as Joya Marleen, Maryne, Tom Gregory, Loi and Dotan to achieve their first radio successes and thus significantly raise their profile in Switzerland. Larissa has turned her passion for music into a profession and now dedicates herself to promoting up-and-coming musical talent as a striker at Capitano.
Noemi Rosen
Trainee and left winger at Capitano Music
Mail IconInstagram Icon
Noemi's passion for music has always played a central role to her. By her own account, she attended over 200 concerts during her youth - a remarkable achievement, especially considering that Noemi, born in 2003, is the youngest member of Capitano Music. Her initiative did not go unnoticed in the music industry. She quickly established herself as a booker and became involved with the Lauter Collective. In the summer of 2024, she joined the organizing committee of the Stars in Town Festival in Schaffhausen, a perfect final preparation before officially becoming a key part of Capitano Music in the fall as their support as a left winger. Noemi’s versatility and empathy are invaluable attributes that she combines with her deep passion for music to nurture and support musical talent.
